INTERACTIVE SITES AND GAMES
Amazing Food Detective:
In this fun site, kids get trained to eat right and exercise and help solve the Unhealthy Habit Mystery.

Campground Dash: In this game, players help Cartoon Network character Lazlo find and eat healthy snacks to keep him moving.

Champ Camp: Disney’s in depth game teaches kids about the food pyramid including the benefits of certain foods as well as which foods are essential and which should only be eaten in moderation.

Kidnetic: Kidnetic is a fun, interactive site that motivates kids to have fun and be healthy at the same time. With healthy recipes simple enough for kids and fun activities and exercises, this website is sure to entertain kids for hours.

My Pyramid Blastoff: This is a fun game that allows players to fuel their ship with food and through physical activity. It is a fun way of learning the concept of fueling one’s body through food and exercise.

Nutrition Cafe: This site is home to numerous games that allow players to learn about nutrition, healthy eating and much more.

Nutrition Exploration: Nutrition Exploration has numerous games such as Little D the Dragon and Monster Nutrition which allow kids to explore the world of nutrition and stay fueled for fun.

Power Panther’s Calorie Challenge: In this fun game, children help Power Panther choose the correct activity to burn off calories gained from either healthy or unhealthy foods. They simultaneously learn about the amount of calories various foods have, as well as how efficient different activities are at burning those calories.

Rate Your Diet: This relatively simple quiz will allow you to take a good look at your eating habits and will provide you with an analysis of your diet.

Sid the Science Kid: This game from PBS Kids targets young children and teaches them good nutrition habits.

Smart Mouth: This website is packed with information and entertainment. In one visit, kids can play games, learn recipes, acquire the knowledge needed to identify healthy and unhealthy foods, watch videos and solve food related brain teasers.

Snack Attack: Aimed at kids, this game combines fun and learning as it teaches players how healthy foods stack up (calorie-wise) against unhealthy ones.

Teen Beat: Teen Beat’s Exercise and Activity Tracker provides users with a simple way to check their current health status and to determine whether they are getting enough exercise, or whether they need a bit more physical activity in their lives.

Halloween Candy Game: This fun interactive game by Nemours KidsHealth.org has children place candy into a pumpkin’s mouth to count up a day’s worth of calories.

USA Pears: USA Pears  provides games and activities targeting young children that introduce them to the delicious fruit and lets them have fun and learn at the same time.
