MOVE MORE PROGRAM

Move More is a free program for people who want to be more physically active.  The key to Move More is a group of "Movers" in the community or workplace who provide peer support for people who enroll. Move More is free of charge to enrollees and offers...
  • Support from a "Mover"
  • A pedometer
  • Maps of outdoor walking trails
  • Lists of indoor walking spaces in your area
  • Physical activity log sheets
  • Move More Newsletter
  • Other  physical activity resources

Examples of how Movers can help are...
  • Walking together
  • Talking about places to exercise
  • Providing free tools such as pedometers
  • Regular e-mails and information to help motivate people to keep moving
  •
If you would like to enroll in Move More or be trained as a Mover, please call Kristie LeBlanc at Somerset Heart Health by phone 474-7473 or e-mail kleblanc@rfgh.net.
